I was thinking of trying it out out after seeing commercials on tv, but I
never seen anything mentioned here about it.

I tried the Pro-Acne but the benzoyl peroxide irritated my skin making it
burn and red after 2 days that it wasn't worth going on with it any longer,
which now rules out Pro-Active also cause of the BP.

I think they may have changed the formulas? But I spent $100+ on the
whole regimen years and years ago.. It was just expensive glycolic acid
at the time. I did like the one sulfur/resorcinal treatment cream, but
that's about it. The rest of it broke me out, BUT I am sensitive to
glycolic acid.
If the formula has changed, I can't comment on it, now. But I think it
is a pretty pricey aha line in general.. I *never* read Rave posts about
the stuff for acne, most say it was a waste of money, from what I have
noticed...

(You could try dermafine (sal acid) or O2 drops)

I tried the Murad system a few years ago, but I think they may have
changed the formulats recently. I didn't have much success w/ the
acne line. I remember that the acne gel had a lot of alcohol, and the
products overall were pretty harsh. The cleanser & toner were drying,
and the lotion was slick but didn't hydrate enough. I had better luck
w/ the Alpha Hydrox 10% gel, which is more reasonably priced. I think
the Murad acne serum/gel is a combination of AHAs and salicylic acid.

HTH, & good luck!

Murad acne products use Triclisan an antibacterial that is used to
combat acne. I'm allergic to it so the product makes me break out.

BP works well for me though.
