You will probably start feeling the side effects after the first week.
Do not use vaseline on your lips, make sure you buy medicated lip balm,
unless your lips will crack..

Don't worry, the dryness will come. The standard regimen is for 16 weeks of treatment. Of course, your skin will get dry and also very photo-sensitive...in other words, stay out of the sun. Feel free to go to the local pharmacy to get a good lotion to help with the dryness...lubriderm and others work well.
