If it works for you, it would probably show within 5-7 days.
Obvious reduction in oil, and tighter pores.
Did you space out the daily dosage? Don't take all 10g at one go.

I'm taking the Holland & Barrett 8-hour time-release, 5g in morning, 5g in
evening, so it should be evening dissolving in my body.
Try another brand? Can you recommend a good brand or 'type' that I can get
*in the UK*?
Thanks.

I took Swiss Formula's timed release and found it inferior. I found a B5
website and
it concurred with my inclination that time-released tablets are not as
effective. I then
switched to Swiss Formula 1g tablets which were so hard to swallow. So
finally I bought
NOW brand B5 powder. Stir a teaspoonful of it in water and you get a good
dose.
Drink twice and you might be amazed by its effects. I took it for about 2
months and
have sinced stopped since March. But I have not had any more active acne and
my
face is 85% clear. Apparently the B5 megadosage kick-starts the body to do
what it
ought to have done on its own. Some people take maintenance doses of 1g/day
but
I am completely off it. Ok, maybe a 2g drink once every fortnightly when I
feel like it.
I do realise that Acidophilus and/or Lecithin helps a lot. Those 10 billion
tiny bugs per
capsule are working very well for me, and they are cheap. So is lecithin.
Check out the site - it's not mine, I just find it informative.

If you have NOW in the UK, give it a try and let us know how you feel.

Can't find 'Now' B5 anywhere in the UK. Am looking at alternatives. Do you
know much about sublingual powders (dissolved under tongue for max
absorption) as shown at sites like this?:
http://www.gandgvitamins.com/sub_lingual.htm
Am going to post separately asking about UK B5 powder suppliers.
Thanks.

PS: Alternatively does anyone have experience of the Life Extension B5

try a non time-release one
try 2g at breakfast, 2g at lunch, 2g at dinner, 2g before bed, then take the
remaining two grams between these doses

Out of interest, what's wrong with the time release ones?

I bought from Vitaglo when I used B5. The powder stuff is like one fourth
the price of the capsules (I used to get capsules from GNC). Both worked
effectively, although the powder is a little less convinient to take but you
eventually get used to it and the taste as well.

I realise that but the point is shipping normally costs 3 times as much as
the product and then I pay customs import tax on top, so... looking for one
in the UK - anyone?
Thanks.

When you say the timed release was "inferior" do you mean it didn't work at
all, as mine isn't working at all?
Also, as I can't find powdered B5 anywhere in the UK, are capsules
containing powder just as good?
Thanks.
