Post subject: high dose vitamin e and low dose accutane
Archived from groups: alt>skincare>acne (more info?)

I stopped the 1000 iu of vitamin e about a week or so ago and increased the
accutane from 10 mg every other day to 10 mg / day and my skin is much better.

I would stay away from vitamin e while on low dose accutane and probably
vitamin e just on its own. It does make the skin dryness and lip dryness less,
but it's hardly noticable on low dose accutane anyway and vitamin e is very
comedogenic, even taken orally in high doses. I also believe it may be making
the skin too oily and encourage gram negative folliculitis so if you're using
the accutane to treat gram negative folliculitis, then stay away from vitamin e
oral.
