after reading many stories here, i decided i am going to give b5 a
try. i, like many other, basically have nothing to lose in my mind.
tomorrow i will go to my local vitamin world and try to pick up b5
vitamins. i think i will follow kita's steps and try somwhere between
2-5g a day, trying to see if i can see differences with as little
dosage as possible, hoping not to have to get to 10g/day.

any final suggestions for me before i begin? any particular brand you
recommend i pick up at my local vitamin world or GNC? wish me luck.
Smile i will post my progress and hope i can join the ones who have
praised this as their miracle solution!

mike

my experience with b5 is that if it works (and it does for some) is that it
will begin working after maybe 1 month, perhaps 2... if you continue taking
it , it will stop working about a year in .. i have no idea why.. but i've
seen this in nearly everyone who took it, including myself.. it may be worth
it for some months of clearness tho... just dont keep megadosing with it if
it stops working..its just not worth it.

B5: Does it cause hairloss? - uh oh. Thats one thing I CANNOT risk, as I am already thinning somewhat. Some of the reviews I'm reading online show hairloss as a side effect. Is this true or mainly hype/placebo? (i.e. the hair would have been lost anyway)

How long does B5 take to work? - Hi, I've been on 10g B5 (from Holland & Barrat) for 3 weeks and so far I've seen no improvement in acne or oiliness, if anything it's got worse. How long should I expect to wait to see improvements?

UK sources of good B5 powder/caps? - Hi, if you've tried B5 and it worked for you, or someone you know, please let me know the brand (if available in the UK) as I want to use a brand that is known to work. I cannot find the 'Now' brand as recommended by DMax in a separate thread. Do you..

Commerical 'B5 Acne Cure' caps vs. regular powder? - Hi, I've seen a few commercial products offering B5 and other ingredients such as Biotin (useful as B5 depletes Biotin) and other good skin ingredients such as Zinc, all in a ready-prepared capsule. Does anyone have any experience of any of the..

Why can't we take Coenzyme A instead of B5? - I note at http://www.coenzyme-a.com/acne_vulgaris.html that Coenzyme A is the primary deficiency that may cause acne in some. They recommend we take B5 to create Coenzyme A. However my health store sells Coenzyme A capsules. Why don't we just take..
