Hello - new here! I am 32 yso, been fighting acne since I was 15. I am
currently taking doxycycline and using Retin-A and BenzaClin. My skin is
EXTREMELY dry and peeling from the topicals. Can anyone here recommend a
moisturizer they use that helps with dry skin but does not cause breakouts?
I am using Neutrogena facial moisturizer but it is not helping at all with
the dry skin. TIA.

Amy

The older you get, the dryer your skin gets. Since you're old now, it's
probably just going to get worse. Use some cetaphil, that might by you a
little time before you get lots of wrinkels.

OLAY Complete works well, though perhaps a bit more pricy.

i am using retin a and benzaclin too! i complained to my dermatologist about my skin being very dry. she recommended Cera Ve. it works very very well! i also use the Cera Ve face wash, and it helps with moisturization, too! you can get both at most drug stores.

Retin-a darkening skin - I've been using a retin-a liquid (0.5%, I know, heavy stuff, but it's cheap) on my cheeks, under my eyes and up around my temples. It's done wonders to cut down on the acne popping up, as well as blackheads, but it's also caused my skin to redden a bit....

Does Retin-A Micro make skin THINNER? - Someone told me it thins the skin, which I guess is not good. Anyone know anything about this? Is it a good reason to avoid it? Ok, so lets see. RetinAMicro thins the skin, Benzoil Peroxide is a radical oxidant which prematurely ages the skin, salicylic...
