Post subject: Should I give Proactiv a go?
Archived from groups: alt>skincare>acne (more info?)

I'm a 22 year old male, in the UK. I drink plenty of water, pure fruit
juice, multi-vit a day, B complex vit per day, and avoid junk food as much
as possible. At the moment I use a dermo friendly oil-free face wash and
moistuzer. I tried the un-usually stuff like the B5 regime, the BP solution
in the past few years and don't really want to go to radical extremes again
now that I'm down to the level Im at at the moment with an almost normal
regime.

Should I try Proactiv to get rid of the blemishes and few bumps/red marks.
When I see a white head I quite often squeeze the puss out of it, it stops
hurting, I clean down so not to get infected and thats what I've been doing,
but think its probably the cause of the red marks on forehead.

Proactiv will help to some degree. Keep in mind that the ingredients
in Proactiv are buffered to sell to the masses. When looking for skin
care, make sure to look for pharmaceutical grade products. Skin gets
used to the products we use, so percentages need to be changed up and
you progress needs to be monitored. Even if you have to go thru a
little flaking, the results will last alot longer.
