Has acne been a problem to humans forever? I was thinking how about
5,000 years ago did they get acne wouldn't severe acne easily be
infected and result in death? or even as recent as 200-300 years ago?
or is this a product of the diets of modern humans or maybe their
habbits.

I believe it's a result of our diets and modern world.

I got some pretty bad stretch marks when I used to work out, around my
bicep area. As soon as I stopped working out, the stretch marks
started to fade. You can still see them though, but they're not as
bad. Hopefully in time they will go away completely, although they
don't bother me at all.

Yes they do. In genetic terms the F1 of two people of different races will
be pretty, but the F2 almost always has acne. For example, when "African
Americans" started diluting their race by mixing with whites, they began
getting the "beard of zits" because their African forms are hairless. Mixing
with Anglos, who are very hairy, causes their skin to reject the strange
hair trying to come through their tough skin...same with Latinos, Hispanics,
whatever they want to be called these days...

anyway...

I'm pretty sure 100% African-Americans also get it... The reason acne
exist is because of the stop of evolution maybe. If we weren't as
developed maybe the gene which caused severe acne would have been
wiped out or something... but people with acne get to "live" so they
pass it on.

Darlin' you missed my point ^_^
Yes "African Americans" get it but not Africans...to my knowledge...besides
there are as many reasons people get zits as there were zits on my face!

I thought that African Ammerican applies to full blooded Africans born
in America since MOST black people are like 100% African as far as I
know.

You will have to look long and hard to find a full blooded African on
the west side of the Atlantic ocean. In the U.S.A., anyone with any
obvious African ancestry is considered by many to be African
American. At one time, in the south, this was formalized as something
like any African ancestry of 1/16th or more. This was all part of the
politics of exclusion.

LOL. You're one weird nazi Irish chick. We should hook up.
What's F1 and F2 anyway?

p.s. I don't agree with the mixing of races either. I don't think it causes acne though. I'm not mixed as
far as i can trace back, yet i have acne? Whatever.

F1=first cross;first child
F2=second cross;second child

Example: I used to work with these to young men from Mexico. Their mother
was "Anglo," as they call us, and their father was Mexican. The oldest boy
was a handsome clear skinned, green eyed beauty, with dark skin and all. His
younger brother had wiry curly hair and THE worst acne I've ever seen! His
skin was neither dark nor light, more like a yellowish color. Anyway that's
one of millions of examples.

Think of some people you know that have many children. Usually the oldest is
the prettiest, and has the more prominent features of the mom and dad...My
family--My oldest sister is DD gorgeous, dark hair, dark eyes, skin to die
for. Second sister is so freckly you can't even see her skin, blue eyed and
copper penny hair. Me, Auburn hair (reddish-brown, leaning on the red side)
medium freckles, green eyes and....tah dah! Bad skin! Of course they have a
different father than me...blah blah blah ^_^
