Anyone try using no topicals? How did it work for you? I'm hearing a lot of
people improving their acne with no topicals.

It helps a lot of people; I suspect IF product use is aggravating their
skin. (Which is probably not an uncommon state of affairs.)

Before I found the microfiber cloths, I always had to at least use a
cleanser to wash off my makeup every day. But aside from that, I tried
"no topicals" quite a few times over the years, and my skin always got
worse.

Thanks to the Vitex, the stuff I use now for my face is just for clarity
and to improve visible pores. That's probably as minimal as I'll get.
But at least now I can focus on scar/wrinkle treatments :/

Hi. I have recently found that if i just wash my face with water ever nite
and morning nothing else my acne clears up significantly. My skin isnt as
oily and over all looks better. WHen i use topicals or anything it makes my
face flare up even more. Even using alo vera gels causes probles. Seems odd
that not doing anything 2 the skin improves it.

Just washing my face with Aveeno soap helped the most. OTC topicals
just made things worse.
Even that wasnt good enough, and Accutaane is working amazingly well
so far.

Hi

With Topicals are you talking about BPO products?

BPO's or alcohol based cleaning pads, some with BPO, some not. I
should mention that even in conjuction with oral anti-biotics, none of
topicals did much except to dry out my skin and turn it red
(sometimes).

I also tried topical anti-biotics when i first started Accutane, It's
hard to say how well it worked as it became unnecessary after a few
weeks of Accutane.
