When I first got my socks, I was using a faux tanner on my legs, so the
stuff sort of bled onto the tops of the socks and looked awful! There were
washing instructions in the package, and I just hand washed them, hung them
to dry (that took about 2 days!) and then, according to instructions, when
they were dry, I put some baby powder on the insides and set them aside.
When I put them away for the summertime (it was too sticky and nasty of a
feeling to wear them all night in the heat!), I put a piece of laminated
cardboard inside each sock so the gel couldn't stick to itself. I used
laminated cardboard so it wouldn't absorb the moisturizing gel into the
paper. I can't wait for it to cool off so I can start using them again.
BTW, yes, they have them for hands and now even elbows at the store I got
mine at! I've seen them sold on QVC or HSN too, but can't remember which
one it was....I'm sure they could be found by doing searches of their
websites if you really want them. Probably a better price there.
