Greetings,
This is a question on behalf of my sister.
She was on birth-control pills for several years, and a side effect
seemed to be that it kept her acne at bay. However, she went off it
several months ago, and the acne came back with a vengence.
The acne itself isn't that bad; it's the blotches that are left behind
that's the primary problem. As my sister and I are both
Africa-American, the acne leaves black blemishes.
So my question is two-fold:
(1) Any recommendations on the best acne medicine? One that gives the
best bang for the buck?
(2) More importantly, does anyone have any recommendations for
treatment/removal of pre-existing blemishes? Tips for minimizing new
ones?
