Hi, I'm 18 years old and next week I'm going to Spain with a group of mates
for two weeks. The trouble is I'm white, and I mean *very* white.
Practically translucent skin, easily visible blue veins running up and down my
legs. Yuk, not a pretty sight! I've never been interested before in aquiring
a tan, hell it must have been five years since I even wore a pair of shorts.
Now I can hardly sit on the Spanish beaches in high summer wearing a pair
of trousers, so I am inevitiably going to have to expose my legs to the sun.
Now I am wondering what on earth I should do here. Can skin that has been
so unused to the sun ever tan properly after only two weeks?
Or perhaps I should slaver my legs with factor 50 suncream for the whole
2 weeks. I don't particulary want to become deeply bronzed, though a bit
of colour would be nice, at least so you couldn't see the veins Smile

how about going to a salon in the St Tropez tan booth. I heard it gives a nice bit
of colour and it's about 30 quid but looks good.

I wasn't even sure whether such products were even available men.

Thanks, I'll check them out.

Just a quick note to thank you for pursuading me to go for these tanning
products. I applied them and now my legs look great!
The horrible blue veins are gone and it looks like I've got a half decent
tan already. I'm so confident now that I am going to turn up for my flight
(tomorrow) wearing shorts. I would never have dreamt of doing this before,
knowing my mates the entire flight would have been spent making jokes
about my legs, how they were going to be dazzled by them when the sun
shone on them and all that.

Thanks again Smile
