Retin-A Micro? - I'm using Retin-A Micro on my face for adult acne. Within just a few days of starting it I'm getting little (and some red marks that have yet to decide if they are going to become I've heard that Retin-A Micro can..

Retin-A vs. Retin-A Micro - I was on about 2 years ago and that worked well, but my pimples are coming back. they're only on my face this time, last time I had them all over my back etc. I was thinking about using Retin-A to get rid of the acne on my face,..

retin-a micro - i've been getting pretty good results with retin-a micro... been using it for 3 weeks and slowly it is clearing up... not to mention it helps picking up the oil shine. i think this might be a product that takes a little bit of time to work.

retin-a micro - well i went up from retin-a micro 0.04% now to 0.1% today. I was impressed with 0.04%, of course there is and I've had some nasty break outs but they come and go real quick. On week 4, suppose to take 8 weeks before any results are clearly..

Archived from groups: alt>skincare>acne, others (more info?)

Hi. I am a 33-year-old male.

For years, I used Benzaclin for acne on my face and neck. Benzaclin
contains benzoyl peroxide.

A while ago, I started noticing that Benzaclin wasn't working as fast
as
Benzaclin had worked before. I thought that my face was getting too
used to the Benzaclin.

So, I asked my dermatologist for something new. The doctor gave me
Retin-A Micro (0.04%).

I have used the Retin-A Micro for the past 8 weeks.
The Retin-A website states that there should be a temporary increase
in pimples. However, the website also states that the pimples should
start subsiding in the seventh and eighth weeks.
However, these pimples are subsiding very little, if at all.

So, what's going on? Should I give up on this stuff?
The pimples are especially severe around my neck. Is Retin-A Micro
inappropriate for the neck?

In the past, I have occasionally used iodine on certain pimples, and
using iodine did help somewhat. Would it be a good idea to use iodine
in conjunction with the Retin-A Micro?

By the way, here is the Retin-A Micro website:

Thanks.

The reason why the medication stopped working for you is because over
time, your body became resistant to the chemicals.
This may pose as a problem because you'll have to move onto a much
stronger medication to "control" the acne.
When your body becomes resistant, it is much harder to clear your
skin. That is the downfall of using over the counter products.

I have tried everything including ProActiv and all the products that
my dermatologist recommended.
It works for a while and then eventually stops working. For the past 6
years, I kept thinking if a doctor recommends it, then it's good
right?
Wrong. The only real effective way to battle acne is honestly, using
natural remedies.
This is the only way I got rid of my acne and I have finally found the
one for sure way to
eliminate those nasty red scars (no I am not talking about
microdermabrasion!).
I have some tips and recommendations on my blog that might help you:

Wish you the best of luck.
