Hi My question is the following:

What is the relation between the dosage that your derm puts you on
while youre clearing up at say, the 3 month point, and the longterm
success of accutane?

Is it better to load the body of say double the amount of MG for the
last month or two to try and defeat the acne?

What are your theories?

I've been wondering the same, although it doesn't have anything to do with
the accumulative dosage which is said to be important. I would _think_
"short period & high dosage" could have more effect, kinda like a shock
treatment and knocking everything out. But... it doesn't make sense with
what is said in the general information about the drug :-S
Greetz,

*targetdosage is said to be 100-120 mg/kg*

well I weigh 130 lbs and I take 40 mg once a day.

But Ive heard from others that dermatologists often say, up the dosage
to 60 then possibly 80 nearing the end of the treatment.
