Post subject: [Facial Redness] V-Beam in purpura-free "mode"
Archived from groups: alt>skincare (more info?)

Hi,

since some months I noticed a clear degradation of my face
with the appearition of diffuse rednes on my cheeks.

I already had this problem when I was a teenager. At this time,
2 treatments with Argon laser just removed all the redness, it
was really magic.

Now, I'm 26 years old and problem re-appears.
I've already seen some Doctors and scheduled a new laser treatment
soon (probably the end of this month).

Argon laser seems now pretty forgotten in replacement of KTP
and pulsed dry lasers like the V-Beam.

Doctors explained to me that V-Beam can be used in two modes.
A mode that gives a face's purpura for 10-15 days but that can
solve redness in one shot.
A second mode which is "purpura-free" but less effective and
could requires more shots.
I have to admit I'm pretty scarred of the purpura since at the
time of Argon laser, it worked perfectly to me without any
purpura.

Well, I would be very interested to grab some testimonies of people
who precisely had a V-Beam treatment in "pupura-free" mode.
How many treatments did they needed?
Is that worked for us?

Sincerely,

Yvano.
