Has anyone here tried Pro Active? Did it clear up your acne?
I am a person who has adult acne on her farhead. I am wondering if
this will help clear it up.

I also drink a lot of coffee, and I smoke. I am wondering if the
coffee and smoking add to my break outs. Does anyone know the answer
to this?
Thanks

While smoking isn't a "diet" issue I have had several derms all swear
it (like your coffee) has nothing to do with acne.

But, that said, I have used Proactiv. I liked the products and used it
for about a year. It did a great job, but like ALL other OTC acne
products or prescritions I have used, sooner or later I started to
break out again and had to switch to something else. Same thing
happened with Proactiv. But that doesn't mean it wouldn't work for
you.

You can always return it if it doesn't work for a full refund if I am
not mistaken.

Well, you aren't helping your skin by drinking coffee or smoking, that's for
sure.

Proactive didn't work for me. But it all depends on what is causing your
acne. For instance, let's say it really is because of the smoking. You can
put whatever you want on your face and take as many antibiotics as you can,
but until you actually stop doing what is causing the acne, you will still
have acne.

Take care,

Sorry you had a problem Grant.

I had no trouble cancelling at all. I guess every company has it's
fans and those who had trouble.

I would try Proactiv and see how it works. You CAN cancel and/or
return it if doesn't work. If you happen to get the rep that Grant
had.. it must be a bad apple. Hang up and dial again!
