I have a 'white mole' on the side of my nose. It has been there for
years....like 15 years or so. Anyway....I have given thought to
having it removed.....not into the 'Sea Hag' look !....seriously its
not that large.....but I wouldn't mind having it gone. My question
is, I have looked into the different ways to have this done....from
surgery....to herbal remedies. Has anyone out there had experience
with the 'at home' methods ? I would think that surgery would be the
most acceptable...but I would also be interested in 'alternative'
forms of treatment. I have heard things ranging from rubbing cashews
on the mole to using products such as the new Compound W Freeze Off.
Some of these do sound a bit much but I would like to hear what
everyone else has heard.

Thanks

I heard that it can leave horrid scars when any home treatment is tried.
I certainly wouldn't want to try it on my face.
In a forum I used to be in, a young girl put a piece of <insert a common
kitchen food> on a mole and the mole turned black and the next day fell
off. It left a very bad hole.
I had a mole on my arm and thought it was a pimple so scratched it off,
every day it would scab and I'd dig it out, this went on for weeks. I
stopped after a month and it's now grown back as it was before.
I'd also be concerned that some moles can be cancerous so despite the
fact I'm an idiot for picking at mine I'd advise you to see a specialist
for the removal.
