Important Accutane question....Please help...I'm about to ..

Hi I"m about to start Accutane possible in about a week and a half to 2 weeks
from now. And I was wondering if I get a piercing right now, and then take
accutane like a week an a half from now is that all right since I didn't get
the piercing after I started accutane? This way I'll be getting the piercing
BEFORE i start accutane. I know you shouldn't get tattoos or piercing WHILE
you're on accutane, so I was wondering if I get it about a week an a half to 2
weeks before I start if that would be ok? It would take about 8 weeks to heal,
but I'd still get it before I start accutane. Please help me ASAP, because I'm
probably going to get the piercing tomorrow. Thanks a lot.

well the reason you're not supposed to get any piercings while on Accutane is because Accutane interferes with
the regular healing process of skin(that's why b4 getting a dermabrasion doctors make shure you haven't been on
the drug for at least 6 month). since your piercing will take 8 weeks to heal, that would clash with you being
on the accutane. i'd say either delay your piercing for after you're done with the Accutane or delay the
Accutane for 8 more weeks. OR, ask your doctor. What kinda piercing is it anyways..they're not all the same..
