You might try bathing with a dandruff shampoo, instead of soap.
Pyrithione zinc is a powerful antimicrobial agent present in many
shampoos (DHS Zinc, Zincon, some versions of Head and Shoulders, and
many generic competitors). It is pretty harsh on the face, but works
best of tougher skin by being left on for a few minutes. For instance
you might coat your shoulders and back with a thin layer of shampoo a
few (5 to 30 ) minutes before showering it off. This ingredient does
eventually attack skin and inhibits hair growth, if the exposure is
great enough, but the exposure described is okay for most people if
used only every second or third day. At least it doesn't cost much
and if it is going to work at all, you will see a difference in a
week.
