Post subject: Is it Harmful to use a Tetmosol Soap (read "Medicated") on my Face for reg use?
Archived from groups: alt>skincare (more info?)

Hi there,

I found this soap ina foreign country overseas travelling (i am
Candian). I don't have any condition of any kind ... I only wash my
face to keep it clean. I just bought this particiular soap just
because it was the only soap i could find. I usually buy whatever is
cheap (e.g. Ivory or no-name).

Anyway, this soap has a packaging that reads that it is a "Medicated
Soap" containing monosulfiram b.p. (sulfiram inn) 5%, citronella oil,
and toilet soap base.

It also mentions on the packaging: "Use in place of toilet soap for
both prevention and treatment of scabies. Store in original wrapper
at room temperature."

If anyone can tell me if it is ok to use this for normal face washes
(i dont have scabies or any skin conditions of any kind). I just want
to be sure that by using this soap i won't get new problems occurring
(e.g. wrinkles or rashes).

Thanks
