Differin Gel Can Somebody Help???

I have mild acne which is starting to get quite bad, i went to my doctors and she gave me differin gel which a have been applyin everynight. for about 2 weeks. My skin has become quite sore and sensitive also it is peeling. has anyone else had this problem? am i using to much gel as on the instructions it says if i use too much it will become red and irritated. It does not seem to be helping, if anything it looks worse.
Can anyone give me some advice please??

I used differin for a while and did not have that problem. Are you applying the product to your entire face? I think it was a little too much for me so I only applied it to the infected areas.
