Yep, my skin is clearing right up again. No pimples. I know it's only been
3 days, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm guessing the Nature's Plus
bar is the magic bullet for me. My routine:

Earth Science Clarifying Wash for my face

Carley's Smooth & Clear Cleanser in the shower, followed by Nature's Plus
Natural Beauty Cleansing Bar

Stuart

quick question... how do you wash with the Nature's Plus? I've found these
directions online:

Acne and excessive oiliness - Rinse affected areas with warm water. Work up
lather and gently massage into skin. Allow to remain on for ten minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry with a soft towel

Is that what you do? I'm ordering today from Vitamin Shoppe and wanna know
the correct way to use it once I get it.

Thanks for your posts!

There is actually a whole booklet that comes inside the box containing the
cleansing bar that tells all about it.
This time around, I have just been laterhing it around for about 30 seconds.
The first time I tried it, I did some
of those ten minute "facials", but the first time I also started flaking
like crazy, so I've been afraid to keep it on
that long.
It feels very mild, like you should be able to leave it on for as long as
you want. My friends love the smell.

One of my friends who has super-sensitive skin has started using it
once-a-day, so I'll see how it does for him.

Er, just looked at the booklet, and it says for acne and excessive oiliness
to leave it on for ten minutes. Hmmm,

If you say you were drying up in your other posts why are you washing your
face twice with two different soaps? thanks!

I have a very oily T-zone, and I use the Earth Science cleanser when I first
get up and before I go to bed to get rid of the excess oil/shine. This is a
very mild and non-drying cleanser. I was using the Nature's Plus Cleansing
Bar for everything before, which meant 3 times/day, and that proved to be
too much.

In the shower, I use the Carley's Smooth & Clear Cleanser, which serves as
my exfoliant and hopefully the BP stays on long enough to be antibacterial
as well. Carley's suggests a finishing soap to remove any BP left on you
skin which might irritate it. I'm using the Nature's Plus bar for that.

I didn't try it expecting it to be an acne fighter. It had a great scent,
and it claimed to be free of drying/irritating ingredients. I really liked
it, but I guess I overused it, because I got dry spots and started flaking
like crazy. On the other hand, my skin was clearer than it had been in a
LONG time. I switched back to Aveeno and moisturized the dry spots. It
took about a week to completely recover. Unfortunately, my mild but very
persistent acne came back! I decided to go back to the Nature's Plus Bar,
but this time limit my usage to once/day. Within 3 days, I was just about
perfect again. It's been about 5 days now, my skin is still clear, and I'm
watching carefully for signs of dryness. I guess I haven't been using it
long enough to proclaim it my miracle cure, but I'm keeping my fingers
crossed.

Congrats Stuart. I'm sure this one will do it for you like it did in the
past. It can't be a coincidence that you've cleared up twice in a row using
this. As soon as Vitamin Shoppe gets off its lazy ass and sends me my
order, I'll be clearing up as well!

Just a little bit. I'm always wary of moisturizers, and this one isn't
oil-free. So far as I can tell, it hasn't broken me out yet. It
moisturizes very well, and it has a nice herbal scent.
