I guess one of the new trends is using micro-fibers to face cleanse with..
(such as Nahri cloths or Magic Mitt (by Jane Iredale, see links below))..
I also read some posts of people using the microfiber cleaning cloths...
My local supermarket sells Spontex Microfibre Cleaning Cloths for 99c,
which I normally use for cleaning (I've used different brands, but the
spontex is silky), so I bought some new ones to try for cleansing..
Amazingly, they actually do a good job with cleaning the face, using
just water! Takes off makeup and everything. Kind of feels like a shammy
(chamois car cloth), but the other non-silky brands probably would just
feel like cotton..
Feels odd not to use an exfoliant, I think as a result my face is
getting a bit dry, which isn't altogether bad..
It's worth trying for those that are very sensitive to chemicals or
wanting to find natural stuff. These work with just water, better than
washcloth does, and is completely non-irritating. Plus I don't make
flood out the sink area trying to rinse off cleansers..
