I know someone mentioned this before, has anyone here try this stuff?
See lots of good reviews at productville..
Couldn't sleep, saw the infomercial.. I'm hooked.. just not paying $60
without trying the colors out first. (Oh, and $6 for 1/8 teaspoon trial
at ebay, uh, no thanks).. stuff is priced like gold!
Maybe I can find a B&M store that carries it..

One of the better deals I've found on Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals is at
www.totalblissbeautyproducts.com. Good selection, no sales tax or
shipping. Also, QVC (www.qvc.com) does good sales, like on the full sized
Bisque with the special Taklon concealer brush (which alone sells for $20 at
any BE salon) for $20.91 on special. They put together great kits too.

This makeup gives good coverage and does not exacerbate my skin problems.
In fact, I think it's cleared up more since switching to the Bare Escentuals
Bare Minerals foundation. You have a fantastic amount of flexibility for
coverage, and when you might need some extra concealing, you can just dip a
small brush in water first when applying the foundation or Bisque in spot
areas to hide acne, and that gives really great, long-acting coverage that
doesn't clog pores or add any oils.

I never thought I'd look good in this type of foundation, but it has such a
natural look to it that I've even known guys to use it to hide acne and
other imperfections. On days that I want to give my skin as much of a break
as possible but still want to go out in public, I just apply some Bisque or
some foundation (which has SPF in it) to my spotty areas and buff it good
and it hides things without that obvious "concealer" look to it. It's the
only foundation/cosmetic that really does work for full-face work or for
spot work without having to do the whole face in order to make it blend.

Thanks GhostMouse! On the infomercial, they said 80% of people are the
medium, is that the color you use?

I wasn't going to pay $6 for 1/8 teaspoon sample (!!) for BE color
sample, but I found a sampler that gives you four shades and six other
color powders (for blush or whatever) for $5 from another brand, so I
ordered that. Plus I can test out how I like it that way. (I've read a
lot of posts/reviews about the brands, some people say it made their
pores seem larger, or was too shiney, so I'm watching for that.) I am
concerned about the mica, but I'll give it a shot. This brand doesn't
contain the bismuth oxychloride, which some people at alt.fashion posted
caused them breakouts. I suspect I'd be fine with that ingredient, tho,
since the zinc oxide usually works well for me..

I will definitely keep an eye out for the qvc deals. I looked on their
site, don't see it on the calender for anytime soon.. The infomercial
package is a good deal ($60), just a lot to spend sight-unseen..

I'm excited to try this stuff!
Smile

(the sampler I bought is at http://www.monave.com/samples.html )
