Hey,
About 6 weeks ago I wrote that my skin was breaking out again. Two years
after my Accutane treadment, so I was frustated and wrote it off... here

Anyway, I made an appointment with my dermatologist and finally had a talk
yesterday. She saw I had Accutane 2 years ago and asked if I wanted that
again... "sure!". My treatment about 2 years ago was 30 mg a day for 4
months... I've now been given 60 mg a day and again she said it would be for
4 months (the other option was 30 mg for 7/8 months, but the thought of
taking it into next summer didn't really appeal to me). In two months I'll
have to go back and we'll see how I'm handling any side-effects.
I was a bit surprised by the fact of giving me 60 mg, because my skin isn't
worse than two years ago. And at the moment it's pretty clear, because I've
been using Acid A-vit cream (that dries out the skin), so that surprised me
even more. Now I'm still wondering why the high dosage, is that just the
normal practice for a second treatment... to level up the dosage? Just
wondering...
Greetz,
*starting tomorrow again*
