Without knowing what your scars are like...
Im 40, and had acne since my teens. My back was what I called "pizza
back". I figured it would look scarred and purplish forever. last year
I started on Accutane (cant believe I waited so long) and during the
course of the year the scars have greatly diminished, maybe 90% or so.
It's possible that what I thought were scars were long term cysts that
went away with treatment.
Have you seen dermatologist? If not you should, and probably two of
them to compare what they say.
