Great scott!
Yeah basically (I've also tried the steaming - religiously!!) the
submerging has been working really well, and i've tried everything else
under the sun, including that nast roacutane drug for 6 months.
In my case, it seems that my skins oil production is just way over the
top. After many years, my verdict is that two washes a day with warm
water, morning and night, aren't enough. It probably only takes about 3
or 4 hours before my skin will get greasy again, particularly my nose.
So at the moment, my ideal thinking is that a morning and night
submerge in warm water really helps. And half way through my day, like
6 hours into it, if I can, I'll splash it with water as well, but not a
full submerge.
-I've noticed with this weeks twice a day submerging (for 1 minute both
times) my nose is also really clearing up with the blackheads! And
everything is has been going well too - and fast! So do let me know
your results! And anybody else out there who might be trying this.
-The whole scheme is basically drying up the skin of oil. And yes, I'm
aware it may mean that oil suddenly starts to produce more and faster -
but even with regular twice a day washing, it was producing enough to
cause plenty of acne.
-Tomorrow I'm flying to England from America, so I'll have more than a
day before I can wash my face again. And I can bet you, given just a
moments break (from past experience) my acne will flare up again, and
take a few days to go down, but luckily with this regime making that
faster.
What a nightmare eh? Acne. Well, maybe 120 seconds a day of warm water
will simply do the trick. And if your face starts getting dry, wait
until it gets *really* dry before putting moisturizers and stuff on to
combat it. I'm pretty sure that just clogs up the pores too.
And confidence? Well I naturally have this anyway - but when my acne is
almost totally gone, I can really go to town! Hope you can too! (and
remember to style your hair in some way too. Having a good complexion
is great, but if you're as boring as your haircut - you could be doing
alot better!)
