Ar, at what age did your rosacea begin? I'm 25 and I guess I've had
it for at least going on 2 years, since that broken capillary appeared
-- which I kept waiting to fade on its own. My cheeks have been kind
of ruddy since high school though, which I've always thought, and the
derm I was seeing back then thought, was irritation from acne. But
could I have had it in my teens? I've read that it generally begins
around mid 30s, and that generally those with rosacea don't also have
the clogged pores kind of acne. Is mine an unusual case?

Hi Ann,

All I can say is that everyone is different. I have dark skin, eyes, and
hair and I never, ever flush or get sunburned. So, I'm not the "type" to
get rosacea. Yet, I have it. I also had horrible acne.

It's hard to say when the rosacea started because I may have had it for
years and just thought it was acne. I get the postules. I was officially
diagnosed when I was 33. However, my sebhorria (which I don't think I
spelled correctly) started when I was in college and now they say that it is
part of the whole rosacea thing.

Dear Ann,
I could not help myself and read about your problem. A friend of my had it
all, pimples, red T zone, visible capillaries, she cleared it all (now even
capillaries are barely visible) with NUCream acne cream we bought at our
church bazaar. Now I now they also sell they products online
www.nucream.com. Maybe it will help.
