So I have been on acidophilus for a few weeks and am inclined to believe
that it works truly well even for the complexion, which has turned rosy and
very smooth (maybe it's also the MSM or Lecithin).

One question remains: those 10 billion tiny workers survive on lactose,
without
which they die in the intestines within 5 days. With the avoidance of dairy
products,
lactose can be hard to come by. I swallow a slice of cheddar once every few
days,
or recently just started drinking half a glass of skimmed milk twice a week.

Would keeping them alive contradict the avoid-dairy routine?

Why are you avoiding dairy? It's not because of the god awful myth that dairy
causes acne...I hope to god that isn't the case.

Dairy has so many hormones in it that it DOES cause acne.
