I've already bought some, but I would hestitate to characterize it as
illegal. The box goes through customs and they know what's in it.
Unfortunately, I can't get enough, at least from a trustworthy source,
for the dosage at which my derm will start me: He plans to keep me on
40mg per day for several months before bringing me down to a lower
dosage, where I will stay indefinitely (I will be doing a continuous
low dose course, as opposed to a high-dosage, 4 month course). I
actually have more on order. I intend to use this only to fill the gap
if I run into one of these SNAFUs after treatment actually starts.
I would prefer to do things completely on the up and up. Taking a drug
bought from a somewhat anonymous overseas pharmacy makes me nervous.
The package has the brand name on it and looks right (except that all
the text is in French)... but how do I know it's the genuine article? I
will only take it if I have no other choice.
I think it's ironic that iPledge will probably drive up the sales from
overseas pharmacies and therefore increase unsupervised usage of the
drug.
