Archived from groups: alt>skincare>acne (more info?)

although i have taken Ginkgo Biloba 750mg (or three of these as per
the instructions) for university study use some days in the past few
years, i now have no doubt that this herb in this quantity, causes
rash like 1-1.5 cm wide red (non-inflammatory) welts/pimples 1 day
after consumption. today 2-3 appeared on both sides of my face.

recently i suspected this but since i started writing down when i took
this, i now have solid proof that this is the culprit. i rarely get
any pimples unless i eat high fat foods.

this may be a reaction only applicable to me, but i thought i would
share this view seeing some others are likely to suffer the same
reaction. this group has identified so many different solutions that
would otherwise have not been able to be communicated widely & many
people helped.

Ginkgo Biloba works by increasing circulation of the blood, but any
herb or vitamin eg. iodine/kelp or even b5 (in quantities below
10grams) & zinc can cause significant problems, so it should not be
such a surprise.

any supporters or critics are welcome to contribute to this as i can
find no other reference to this prob in the archives of
alt.skincare.acne

good luck

recent experience taking this quantity again have caused me to cancel
this theory: it is simply incorrect. sorry! carry on taking it!
